Using the VedaCODE CLI

Installation requirements and the core slash commands.

VedaCODE Updated 1 min read

The VedaCODE CLI is a standard-library Python program: it needs Python 3.9 or later and no pip dependencies, and runs on Linux, macOS and Windows. It authenticates to your on-premises server with pinned public-key server authentication and user credentials or a tenant API key, and it never uploads local credential files.

Core commands

CommandPurpose
/fixAutomated issue resolution
/reviewMulti-model code review
/testSandboxed test generation
/prVerified pull request synthesis

The VS Code extension is served by the same server and shares the CLI’s authentication session. Installation commands are provided with your VedaCODE server.
